About Us

The Maryland Raptor Conservancy is an all-volunteer organization of individuals who are licensed rehabilitators, rescuers and falconers who want to share their knowledge about the wonderful birds of prey that live with us in Maryland. We all met as volunteers for Owl Moon Raptor Center. Owl Moon Raptor Center is a 501(c)(3) that rescues, rehabilitates and releases native birds of prey in ouir area.  They care for hundreds of raptors every year!

We are passionate about helping our native raptors survive and thrive, and we want to share our knowledge during our raptor education programs, using live, non-releasable birds of prey to help others understand how critical raptors are for a healthy environment for everyone.

Fulfilling a long held interest in raptors, she also spends her free time rescuing and rehabilitating birds of prey with the Owl Moon Raptor Center in Boyds, MD.
